Canoe, Kayak, or Paddleboard in St. Tammany Parish
The Northshore is laced with bayous, rivers, and streams that make it easy to glide through the scenery the old-fashioned way, in kayaks and canoes, as well as standing atop paddleboards. You can rent kayaks from several outfitters, including Brooks' Bike Shop, Massey's Outfitters, and kayaks and canoes at Canoe and Trail Adventures in Covington or Foggy Waters Marina in Slidell. Contact Honey Island Kayak Tours in Pearl River to find out about guided excursions through the Honey Island Swamp. Launch locations are open to the public for your own vessel or rented equipment.
